Alpe Pragas was born in 1997 from the idea of ​​working with top-quality fruit from local cultivation and beyond, to create exclusive and top-quality finished products, all to be enjoyed.

At the heart of our philosophy is the creation of products with a high fruit content and without artificial additives.
We want to be counted among the best “fruit refiners”, constantly searching for new horizons and innovations, always producing with full respect for nature and all its resources, in order to leave future generations an uncontaminated nature.

Our story

1978 Stefan Gruber was already a nature lover as a child, growing up on his parents' farm surrounded by greenery and cows. His passion, however, was not the cows on the pastures, but the fruits that grew in the garden.

1997 The first raspberry and strawberry preserves of the Alpe Pragas brand are produced in the laboratory in Dobbiaco and are on sale in specialty food shops in the Pusteria Valley.

2003 Alpe Pragas builds its own production plant in Braies! At the end of 2003 we take possession of our new laboratory.

2010 We expand our production facility and give it the appearance it has today.

Today Alpe Pragas looks back with pride on its success story that has lasted for more than twenty years.

Today the family business employs 13 people, produces around 100 different products, from compotes to mustards and smoothies, and supplies customers in the fine dining sector, delicatessen shops and delicatessens in Italy and 15 other countries around the world.
